Delivery Consultant

About the role

As a Delivery Consultant you will be part of the Customer Delivery department, where you function as the primary contact between the delivery process in the infrastructure and network area and ensure that solutions are implemented on time and with high quality.

Your areas of responsibility include, among others

• Drive end-to-end deliveries of telecommunication and data communication solutions to corporate customers.
• Ensure progress on customer orders and activities across technicians, specialists and suppliers.
• Handle deliveries within fiber, internet, SD-WAN, mobile and network solutions.
• Be the primary contact for subcontractors and other technical key personnel in connection with technical deliveries and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate implementation and commissioning together with our backend team and the customer's technical contacts.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies and any escalations.

Workday | a typical task

A contractor company must have established a fiber connection to 50 employees. The task comes to you from sales, which has obtained the necessary information from the customer's technical contacts. You then take over and coordinate the delivery. You order the physical fiber connection from subcontractors and ensure that the necessary equipment and materials are available.

Along the way you coordinate with Norlys' designers and network engineers to ensure that the solution is established correctly and matches the customer's needs. As the implementation date approaches, you ensure coordination with the technician who will install the equipment at the customer's location. Depending on the delivery, you also collaborate with the backend team to get the final details in place so that the customer gets a well-functioning solution on time.

When the delivery has been completed and the customer is in operation, the case is handed back to sales, which completes the process and follows up with the customer.

What drives you | what have you tried

• You have experience with customer deliveries, service delivery or project coordination – perhaps in telecommunications, networking, fiber or IT infrastructure
• Or perhaps you have experience with other types of technical deliveries for larger corporate customers
• Management of order and delivery processes
• Coordination with the customer's network, infrastructure or IT managers
• Basic understanding of networks, fiber, WAN, SD-WAN or mobile technology
• Experience with project management or service management
