Part-time job/study job as a helper in Skovlunde offered

Are you looking for a meaningful part-time job in Skovlunde, this job as a helper might be something for you. You don’t need any special education or experience as a disability helper and the job is well suited as a student job. The job is about 15 hours per week but can be adjusted a little up or down depending on what you want and what we agree.

A bit about me

I am a female wheelchair user aged 45 and live with my husband and two teenage daughters. I have a mild form of muscular dystrophy and am trained as a biochemist and work daily in the pharmaceutical industry. As a helper you will be my arms and legs and help with the things I do not have the strength for in daily life.

Tasks and shifts

The helper's tasks are quite ordinary tasks such as help with dressing, cooking, accompanying to physiotherapy and leisure activities as well as cleaning and shopping etc. The tasks are done together with me.

Because you will help me in the women’s changing room at the swimming pool, I am seeking a female helper.

Shifts are distributed on weekdays between morning shifts 6.50-9.00 (pay for 3 hours) or afternoon shifts 13.30-19.00. In addition one Saturday or Sunday shift 9-15/18 about 1-2 times per month. As a helper you will have influence on which days you work, but it is important you can be flexible and you are willing to cover both morning, afternoon and weekend shifts. We will put a schedule together. The schedule will vary from week to week.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, non-smoker, speak Danish and have a driving license.

Salary is paid according to DUOS’ agreement for disability helpers: 158DKK per hour plus supplements for evenings and weekends (pay grade 13, area 4).
