Vesthimmerlands Municipality's Dental Care seeks an engaged dental clinic assistant trainee with start 1 March 2027

We are a dental service with many different tasks

We provide dental care for almost 8,000 children and young people in the municipality. In addition, we offer special, social and care dentistry for around 260 citizens.

You will become part of our modern central clinic in Aars, where we have gathered many of the dental care functions. This gives you the possibility of a varied workday with both children, youths and adults and with many different tasks within your professional area.

All orthodontic care for the municipality's children and young people takes place at the clinic in Aars. We also collaborate with an asylum center in the municipality, where we offer both preventive and treatment dental care.

Modern clinic and good framework

We have a modern clinic, which is continuously updated with new equipment. Most recently we have obtained a scanner and CBCT .

The clinic has just been expanded and now has 12 treatment units , of which one is equipped with a lift.

You will become part of a team with

• 7 dentists
• 2 specialist dentists in orthodontics
• 3 dental hygienists
• 12 dental clinic assistants
• 1 dental clinic assistant trainee

Who are you?

• Have completed the basic course for clinical assistant
• Interested in working with children and youths and vulnerable adults
• Interested in working in teams with dentists and dental hygienists
• Interested in working with prevention
• Have professional ambitions
• Flexible and easily able to communicate and work with different colleagues during the week
• Aware of demonstrating a high level of service to our users

You will be working at Vesthimmerlands Municipality's Dental Care, Østermarken 18, 9600 Aars .

Aars is located in Vesthimmerland Municipality – about 30 minutes from Aalborg and a little more than an hour from Aarhus.

Salary and employment terms
