Your professionalism comes into play

As a clinic assistant you are an important part of the daily operations and the patients’ experience of the Dental Service.

You assist during treatments, prepare the clinic and ensure good hygiene and sterilisation. Depending on your competencies you may also take on other clinical tasks, e.g. patient examinations, polishing and education.

You meet children, adolescents and adults with different needs. Therefore it is important that you can create a sense of security, communicate at eye level and provide patients with a good experience – even when the dental visit is not their favorite activity.

We emphasize that you have a good view of both the patient, the professional level and the daily operations.

You are an important part of the relationship with the patients and their families. You do not need to have experience with children and adolescents – the most important is that you are willing and motivated to learn.

The fine print

We are 73 employees who provide dental care to Kolding Municipality’s children and young people as well as patients in Adult Dentistry. We are distributed across four clinics where we perform all types of treatments, both non-operative and operative.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The salary is determined according to principles of local wage formation.

The goal of the Dental Service is to support the individual under the best possible conditions for lifelong dental health based on their own circumstances. We do this by

In accordance with Kolding Municipality’s personnel rules, a child–care certificate will be obtained. Prior to employment, Kolding Municipality will obtain a criminal record check when the law requires it, or the position otherwise justifies it.
