At MTM Service we are looking for a department head who can take daily responsibility for our window cleaning department.

You will play a central role in the company and will be responsible for both our employees and a client portfolio consisting of both large and smaller business customers. Your most important task will be to ensure daily operations run smoothly – from planning and coordination to customer contact and quality assurance.

The position is 37 hours per week and offers a varied daily life, where some of your time is spent in the office, while another part takes place at the employees' and customers' premises.

It is also a role with great freedom and great responsibility . You largely plan your own working hours and daily routine, as long as you ensure the department functions, employees know what to do, and our customers receive the quality and service they expect.

What will you be doing?

As department head you will have daily responsibility for our window cleaning department and become the link between employees, customers and the rest of the company.

Your tasks will include, among others

• Daily leadership and coordination of our window cleaners
• Planning and optimization of employees’ working days
• Ongoing contact and coordination with both large and small customers
• Quality assurance of the work performed at our customers’ sites
• Follow-up on complaints and ensuring that any issues are resolved
• Planning and coordination of both regular and extraordinary tasks
• Inspection and assessment of new and existing tasks
• Ongoing focus on ensuring the department’s tasks are carried out efficiently and to the agreed quality
• Collaboration with the company’s other management and administration
• Being visible and accessible to the employees and contributing to a well-functioning daily life in the department

In short, it will be you who has the daily overview of the window department and ensures that employees, customers and planning come together in a unified whole.

Who are you?

We are not necessarily looking for one specific profile.

The most important thing for us is that you are good with people, can keep an overview and thrive on taking responsibility. You must be able to work independently and in a structured way, but at the same time be visible and accessible to both employees and customers.

• Are good with people and can lead different types of employees
• Are organized and strong at planning
• Can make decisions and take responsibility
• Have a natural understanding of good customer service
• Have an eye for quality and follow up when something isn’t as it should be
• Are solution-oriented and can handle that today’s plan sometimes changes
• Have basic IT skills and are comfortable with administrative tasks
• Have a driving license

If you have experience with window polishing, cleaning, facility service or other service companies , that is of course an advantage. Experience in personnel management or operations planning would also be positive.

But for us the right personality, attitude and ability to make people and operations work together are at least as important.
