Do you want to help translate digitalization and artificial intelligence into concrete solutions that create value for citizens, employees and managers?

In the Labour Market Department we are in the midst of an exciting development where digital solutions and new technologies shall support an even better effort for citizens and businesses.

Therefore we are now seeking for a permanent position a digitalization consultant who can drive development projects, ensure implementation of new solutions and support the operation of existing ones and be a central sparring partner for management and staff.

As a digitalization consultant you will become part of an organization with many collaboration interfaces, where you will have the opportunity to influence development and translate ideas into concrete solutions.

About the position

You will take a central role in the work with digital development in the employment area. Your tasks will range from strategic advice and project management to implementation and operation support of IT solutions.

A particular focus area will be to support the use of artificial intelligence (AI), where there is a legal basis for it. You will among other things be project manager for the municipality’s participation in KL's large-scale project on the use of AI in the employment area.

You will also work further on implementing the area's channel strategy, which has been developed through a larger inclusive process, and contribute to the continued development of digital channels and self-service solutions.

The tasks are carried out in close collaboration with center management, managers, professional consultants, power users, the municipality's IT department and external suppliers.

Your main tasks will include, among others, to

• drive and coordinate digitization projects in the employment area
• support the use of AI and act as project manager on relevant AI initiatives
• contribute to the implementation and follow-up on the Labour Market area’s channel strategy
• advise on the selection of new digital solutions and support implementation and operation
• be system owner for Schultz Fasit in close collaboration with the super user coordinator
• support administration of users, units and access rights
• coordinate system changes and organizational changes with IT and system suppliers
• contribute to transition to common municipal access management and framework for access profiles
• ensure compliance regarding contracts, add-on modules and system usage
• carry out follow-up and controls, including random checks of CPR lookups
• contribute to leadership support, analyses and points of attention regarding system support
• coordinate training, e-learning and implementation of new functionalities
• be a liaison between the employment area, IT department and system suppliers
• act as system owner for the municipality’s use of Candeno in the employment area.

About you

We expect that you have experience with digitalization, IT support or project management in a public organization. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the employment area, but not a requirement.

Practical information

The position is located in Leadership Support & Digitalization, which is part of the Center for Citizen Services, Services and Digitalization under the Labour Market Department in Randers Municipality.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and based on local salary formation principles.
