About the job

Set the direction for the next phase in a market where strong relationships, sharp credit quality and deliberate choices should drive profitable growth.

Do you want to lead the way in shaping the next chapter of Jyske Bank's engagement in renewable energy?

You will be responsible for a highly specialized department that works with large and complex clients. Together with the team you will make Jyske Bank the preferred financial partner for the actors we consciously choose to be relevant for.

As Director for Renewable Energy you will be visible in the market and central to the bank. You will set the strategic and professional direction for the area, translate ambitions into priorities and create followership among employees and partners.

Your main areas of responsibility will be to

  • develop and execute the strategy for Renewable Energy with clear choices about position, segments and portfolio
  • ensure profitable growth and prioritize customers and cases based on value, complexity, risk and strategic relevance
  • develop competitive financing solutions in close collaboration with customers and relevant specialists across the bank
  • profile Jyske Bank in the market and build long-term relationships with professional actors in the value chain
  • drive internal stakeholder management and ensure effective coordination across the organization
  • lead and develop a specialized team across Silkeborg and Copenhagen with clear goals, priorities and feedback
  • ensure order in our own house within governance, credit quality, risk management, compliance and efficient processes.

Your profile

We imagine that you have solid experience from banking, financing or a related area where complex customers, credit and strategic business development meet. You do not need to know all technologies in Renewable Energy from day one, but you must be able to understand the market dynamics and stand confidently in the essential commercial and credit decisions.

  • you have proven management experience and achieve results through clear direction, involvement and consistent follow-up
  • you have strong banking expertise and credit competence and can challenge decision bases in a constructive and precise way
  • you can translate market insight into concrete choices about customers, portfolio, products and collaboration models
  • you navigate safely between growth ambitions, market development and high credit quality
  • you communicate complex relationships simply and credibly, both externally and internally
  • you build strong relationships and actively work with stakeholder management in the organization
  • you are clear about what you stand for, and create coherence between words, decisions and actions

Your primary base will be agreed based on business needs and your geographical location. The role entails presence at both locations as well as meetings with customers and partners.
