As the Director of Corporate Tax in the Danish Tax Agency, you will become a member of the agency's executive board. You will be responsible for 840 employees and managers who every day work to ensure the collection of taxes and duties from Denmark's companies. Thus, the tax area constitutes a central part of ensuring the financing of the Danish welfare state.

Your responsibility as Director of Corporate

The Corporate area is in contact with all Danish companies every year – from the largest groups to the smallest limited liability companies – and helps ensure that companies, funds and associations pay the correct taxes and duties on time. The area has about 840 employees distributed across four under-directorates.

As Director of Corporate, you must be a strong leader and have a professional profile that can build on the good results and the well-functioning collaboration with companies and internal and external stakeholders.

Companies in Denmark are characterized by being professional actors who every year contribute a large tax revenue in corporate income tax, VAT, etc. As Director, you must help make it easier for companies to report correctly through the right solutions, guidance and appropriate control, with the companies' legal protections at the center.

You must create the framework for efficient operation and development of your area and build on a good and close stakeholder collaboration within the framework of the Tax Agency's overall strategy. This must take place in close dialogue and cooperation with your fellow directors, under-directors, the Ministry of Taxation and Growth's department and other stakeholders.

Digitalisation and globalisation place large, new demands on the collection of corporate taxes, and it will be your task to ensure that tasks, systems and processes follow societal development and changing requirements from, for example, the Parliament and the EU. You must be able to ensure and lead modernisation of complex system complexes, implementation of new directives and develop processes in your area for the benefit of companies in and outside Denmark.

As Director you report to the Director of the Tax Agency, Thomas Hjortenberg. You will become part of the executive board, which besides the Director of the Tax Agency consists of the directors of each of the Tax Agency's seven areas. You must be a role model for the organisation and, together with the rest of the executive board, lead based on our values: professionalism, responsibility, collaboration and vision.

Our upcoming Director

This is an exciting and developmental top leadership position, where we would like to see that:

• You have experience with top leadership and are driven to create visible results for both day-to-day operations and strategic and organisational development
• You have a strong analytical capacity and can convey academically and technically complex cases at a strategic and political level
• You understand and preferably have experience with the interaction between IT development, operations and strategy in a politically led organization
• You are receptive, open, collaborative and good at engaging in dialogue with your own management chain, partners and stakeholders
• You work strategically with the development of your organisation and can see how tax payments can be adapted to companies' needs in an increasingly digital environment

We also emphasize that you have a relevant education, preferably academic at the relevant master's level. Experience from the tax or business sector is an advantage but not a condition. In addition, you should have experience in leading leaders.

You should be aware that your employment is conditional on you being security-cleared and maintaining this security clearance during your employment in the position. If you are already security cleared in another public authority and are offered the position, we want to take over your security clearance from your current workplace, if the conditions for this are met.

Salary and terms of employment are negotiated in accordance with the framework agreement on contractual employment of managers in the state. The position is placed in salary grade 3, corresponding to salary framework 39. The position is expected to be filled on a permanent basis.

You will be employed in the Ministry of Taxation and Growth with associated institutions. Your workplace will be either Hannemanns Allé 25, 2300 Copenhagen S or Lyseng Allé 1, 8270 Højbjerg.
