About the job
Can you help us define ECCO’s next chapter?
Lead the agenda that turns sustainability ambition into business impact
As Director of Sustainable Products and Data, you will play a pivotal role in translating ECCO’s sustainability ambitions into tangible business outcomes.
Reporting to the VP, Group Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability, you will be part of the function’s leadership team and lead four specialists within climate, materials & LCAs, data and engagement.
CSRD reporting will be a key priority in the coming years, alongside climate performance and sustainable product development, and you will ensure that these areas support both business priorities and future regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will
- Lead ECCO’s CSRD reporting programme in close partnership with Finance, driving cross-functional data collection, reporting processes, and governance to deliver high-quality disclosures aligned with ECCO’s strategic priorities.
- Lead ECCO’s climate agenda, including annual carbon accounting and reporting.
- Advance sustainable products and materials initiatives by influencing partners across the value chain to improve environmental performance and prepare for future requirements.
You turn complexity into direction and results
You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, data-driven approach and enjoy transforming complexity into clear, actionable plans. Equally comfortable discussing data structures, climate targets and business priorities, you know how to build alignment across different functions and translate technical requirements into solutions that people can use.
You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve, new questions emerge and collaboration across functions and cultures is key to delivering lasting results.
To succeed in the role, you will bring
- Proven experience leading and developing teams of specialists.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and build alignment across a global matrix organisation.
- Strong understanding of sustainability data, governance, reporting and digital enablement, combined with solid commercial awareness.
- Ideally, experience from the consumer products industry.
Join a team driving meaningful change
You will become part of ECCO Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility, with teams covering global product compliance, environment, health & safety, sustainable supply chain, ESG reporting and sustainable solutions.
This is an opportunity to join an international environment where you will help shape both your area of responsibility and the way ECCO works with sustainability and compliance across the business.
Ready to help shape the future of sustainable products and data?
If this opportunity excites you, we would love to hear from you. Even if your experience does not match every qualification, we encourage you to apply if you believe you can contribute to the role and our ambitions.
We review applications on an ongoing basis, and the vacancy is open until the right candidate has been found.
