As Director for the technical area you will have many different tasks

• Sustain close, proactive and precise political support to the Council, the mayor and the political committees, and create a trusting interaction between politics and administration.
• Lead and further develop the organization, including maintaining the strategic direction in a time that calls for wise and sharp prioritizations in order also to deliver safe operation.
• Be an active professional sparring partner for your sector heads, support them in their task solving and contribute to cross-disciplinary collaboration in the municipality.
• Ensure sharp prioritizations and coherence between development, construction, operation and Finance.
• Strengthen leadership and the organizational capacity so that tasks are solved safely and efficiently – also when resources are limited.
