Disability helper - part-time - no experience required

We are looking for a sweet, mature and responsible handicapped helper who wants a part-time job for our team of 12 fantastic colleagues.

I am a happy and humorous young woman without verbal language, who lives with my family in Odsherred in Northwest Zealand. I am multi-handicapped and sit in a wheelchair, but lead an active life, with training, school, social events and hobbies such as cinema visits, outings and music events.

I need empathetic helpers who can be my arms and legs and who can assist me in everything. This includes, among other things, personal help and care, training, companionship and practical tasks.

Like everyone else, I have good days and bad days. The good days are filled with smiles and laughter, fun and games. I love it when we sing, dance, joke, tease and just "have a party". The bad days I am very sensitive and need extra help and care.

We offer a cozy, humorous and educational daily life together with me and my other helpers • Intensive training, in a home with all necessary aids • A daily life with joint planning and influence on your work • as well as good and fun experiences with me and your colleagues. We have a busy everyday life and, as a rule, are always 2 simultaneous helpers on day shifts.

What we are looking for

Is a mature and independent woman who can see herself in the role of a handicapped helper, with a good sense of situations and an understanding of working in a private home.

We value a good mood, with a good portion of dark humor, and a calm temperament.

You will as a handicapped helper become part of a fixed and flexible team, of about 12 colleagues, who collectively cover all shifts year round, on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Day shifts are typically 7:30-15:00 on weekdays and 8:00-15:00 on weekends. Afternoon/evening shifts typically 15:00-19:30 on weekdays and weekends. It is also possible to substitute night shifts.

Shift length and weekly hours are agreed based on mutual wishes – the most important is that the chemistry is right.

Experience is not necessary, as you will be thoroughly trained by your colleagues. It is an advantage if you are an experienced driver. It is also an advantage if you have your own car, so you are not dependent on public transport.

Salary

You will be paid a base salary of DKK 171.75 plus various early shift allowances of between 53 and 144 per hour.
