Our son Theis has been granted BPA/Cash allowance under § 95 stk. 3 og 4 as well as respite care in his own department at home.

LOBPA is the employer, and father Ralph Bollhorn is the close relative who acts as supervisor.

TEAM

Vi er et godt og velfungerende team på i alt 10 hjælpere. Alle i teamet dækker hinanden løbende i hverdagen ved sygdom, fridage og ferier. Der er således en klar forventning om fleksibilitet og solidaritet på både egne og andres vegne. Der er både deltids – og fuldtidsansatte i ordningen.

Det er selvfølgelig meget vigtigt med loyale hjælpere i forhold til det at arbejde i et privat hjem. Det gode samarbejde og den gode kemi i ordningen vægtes meget højt.

Der er 2 hjælpere på vagt samtidig hele døgnet, og vagter er som udgangspunkt på 12 eller 24 timer. Hjælper 1 er vågen nattevagt, og Hjælper 2 har ud over 16 alm. timer 8 rådighedstimer fra kl. 23 – 07. Mødetid er fra kl. 10.

Det er ikke muligt med fremmed vikar udefra, da det er absolut nødvendigt at være oplært i både Theis og dagligdagens faste rutiner.

Vagtplanen er et fast rul over 4 uger. Det prioriteres højt at forsøge at udarbejde denne bedst muligt i forhold til alle medarbejderes behov og ønsker.

Der er brug for ansøgere, der er fysisk stærke og i rimelig god form, som holder af at komme ud i naturen med Theis flere gange dagligt på alle årstider.

THEIS

Vores Theis er en mild og elskelig ung mand på 30 år, som er 1.78 høj og vejer ca. 78 kilo. Kognitivt er Theis nu ca. 1.5 år uden sprog, og han skal derfor læses i alle forhold. Han kommunikerer på sin helt egen søde måde, og det er muligt at få en god og personlig relation til ham.

Theis is not in any way aggressive, but must never be left alone. Therefore one helper cannot perform his work without the other helper being present.

Theis is able to walk with support and is daily on several walks in nature, including often ball games.

Theis is helpless in all respects, and he must never be left alone.

Theis has epilepsy and can have unpredictable seizures around the clock.

Theis eats by himself under guidance, but cannot drink by himself without help.

Theis receives home-cooked meals that are dairy- and gluten-free.

The day always takes its starting point from Theis' daily condition with reference to the night’s progression. There is handover with reference to the logbook at 10 and 22 daily, where status and any changes are reviewed. In addition to the fixed routines, the pair spar regularly with each other and plan the other activities. This provides security for the helpers, as Theis is quite unpredictable.
