District Manager for Netto - Aarhus Area

As district manager you play a key role in Netto's future and become responsible for about 10 stores, which you lead based on our unique framework for good leadership behavior. You lead, train and develop the store managers, ensuring that they work according to Netto's strategy and operating concept.

More concretely you shall

• draft operational plans together with the store managers
• develop and motivate Netto's store managers in a leadership sense
• ensure talent development, well-being and retention in the stores
• actively contribute with valuable sparring to the store managers on operations, leadership and employees' ongoing development
• manage a complex business based on an operating concept
• ensure that Netto is the preferred grocery store in the local area
• be a role model for Netto's value set and employee experience, which we call NEX: Netto Employee Experience

In your onboarding you will receive a thorough and structured introduction to the role as district manager, e.g. in collaboration with the regional manager and district manager colleagues. We tailor your onboarding to you and your level of competence.

A highly capable leader

In the position as district manager it is a clear advantage if you have experience with chain operations from retail or a similar position – and with well-documented results. We expect that you have leadership experience, also remotely, and that you are comfortable with accounting and system understanding. We imagine that you are

• a strong communicator who can deliver messages at eye level in both written and spoken form to all your stakeholders
• process-oriented to the fingertips – and possess the necessary influence
• aware that your results are created through others
• strong at building relationships that create followership
