District nurse with a specialization in COPD

As one of our two COPD specialists is able to devote themselves to family life full-time, we are seeking a nurse who would like to support and develop the municipality's efforts for citizens with COPD

Nurse with a specialty in COPD

As the specialty lead you will help ensure that our citizens receive a relevant healthcare offer that lives up to the national care program for citizens with COPD

The aim is to prevent hospital admissions and readmissions and support the citizen's own ability to manage their life with COPD, in close collaboration with the municipality's health champions

The position is essentially 37 hours per week and primarily day shifts. You should expect that evening shifts may occur on weekends, holidays and public holidays, as well as during illness. You have a weekend shift every 4th week where you will work as district nurse or emergency nurse depending on competencies.

The nursing is divided into 5 geographical teams in either rural or urban areas.

As a nurse out in the District you will be part of either the rural or urban group. Right now there is a joint entry-point for specialties at Nærhospitalet in Middelfart.

You

• Are a trained nurse – preferably with at least 2 years of clinical experience in the pulmonology/COPD field.
• Focus on citizens' resources and have a rehabilitative approach in relation to collaboration with citizens.
• Are independent, able to prioritise and plan your work tasks.
• Can educate our partners in COPD and TeleCOPD
• Value a high level of professional competence in your work and are curious about new knowledge
• Can create trust and security in pressured situations.
• Reflective and have a positive approach, in sparring with colleagues in nursing and with our other partners.
