In District Dronningborg we are seeking an engaged, professionally strong and development-oriented district nurse , who is passionate about creating quality, coherence and security for citizens and at the same time wants to contribute to the professional development of both colleagues and nursing in the district.

As a district nurse you will have a central role in ensuring high professional quality, coordinating complex citizen pathways and supporting competence development in the staff group. You will become an important partner for citizens, relatives, colleagues, management and external partners

About the position

The position combines clinical nursing with professional coordination, teaching and development tasks. You will have great influence on the professional direction and the opportunity to shape development in the district. As a district nurse you have a key role in implementing professional changes.

You will not be alone. In District Dronningborg there is already an experienced district nurse who will be your close collaborator in everyday life. You will together take on the tasks, spar on professional issues and contribute to the ongoing development in the district.

At the same time you will receive a thorough introduction and a secure mentorship program, where your new colleague acts as mentor and helps you well into both the tasks and the culture in Dronningborg.

Your main tasks

You will have a role where you work closely with citizens and contribute to the professional development in the district.

Ensure high nursing professional quality

• Handle complex nursing tasks for citizens in their own homes.
• Work with early detection, triage and prevention of hospital admissions.
• Contribute to coherent and coordinated citizen pathways.
• Support high quality in documentation, medication management and patient safety.

Advise and develop colleagues

• Be a professional sparring partner for social and health helpers, social and health assistants and other colleagues.
• Support learning through guidance, training and bedside learning.
• Lead competence development across professions.
• Contribute to the introduction of new employees.

Coordinate and create overview

• Have special focus on citizens with complex problems and pathways.
• Participate in and facilitate multidisciplinary meetings.
• Coordinate professional efforts in collaboration with the manager and colleagues.
• Contribute to the development of the contact person and pathway responsible role in the district.

Drive development and implementation

• Implement new working methods, instructions and health-related initiatives.
• Teach and disseminate relevant nursing knowledge.
• Contribute to the implementation of welfare technology solutions.
• Participate in quality work, supervision and learning from adverse events.

Employment terms

Employment as soon as possible or no later than 1 December 2026.

The position is essentially 37 hours per week, mainly day shifts on weekdays. Other shifts may occur in connection with special activities and competence development.
