We are seeking an experienced journalist who writes news with precision, creates engaging content and makes technology relevant for people. Now you can use your expertise where digitization makes a difference for patients, citizens and employees in Region Midtjylland.

In Digitalization and IT we work with everything from artificial intelligence to digital solutions that support everyday life in the healthcare system. We are an organization in rapid development, and the stories are many. Your task will be to find them, ask the sharp questions and tell them so recipients understand why they are important.

You will communicate to both our own employees, the region's 36,000 colleagues and the outside world. It requires journalistic judgment, understanding of technology and the ability to make complex material clear and relevant.

You find the angle and get the story out

You drive the stories from idea and research to finished content. You seek colleagues and professional experts, challenge insider language and find the angle that makes a technical solution a relevant news item.

LinkedIn will become a central part of your work. You must be able to develop our profile, produce content and translate insights into audiences and results into greater reach and engagement. You know what captures attention, and how text, images and video work together.

We expect that you

• Have a master's degree in journalism
• Have several years of relevant experience, preferably from the IT industry.
• Are strong in content creation and can produce content in text, images and video yourself
• Build good relationships and collaborate confidently with specialists, leaders and colleagues.
• Take responsibility, prioritize and deliver, even when an unexpected task changes the day's plan.

You should thrive in a high-tempo daily life and broad collaboration surfaces. You work independently, but also use the team's sparring to improve the content.

Are you experienced in Microsoft 365 and use generative AI in a qualified way in your work, it is a plus. We value that you share your knowledge and challenge our way of working.

The communications team belongs to Organizational Development, which is part of the staff function in Digitalization and IT. Here we work closely with HR and the secretary team.
