About the job

Do you have time to be a nurse – and make a real difference?

Then join us on the journey as our rehabilitation slots become part of the Capital Region of Denmark.

We are looking for a nurse for Department S2 at the Center for Rehabilitation and Prevention in Gentofte , who wants to work with rehabilitation and complex citizen journeys – and who also wants to be part of when we start a new reality as part of the region.

With us you don't just get a job. You will become part of a professionally strong team, where we every day work together to give the citizen the best possibilities to move forward.

You will become part of a unit with 26 temporary rehabilitation places . We have citizens with neurological challenges; brain injury after stroke or traumatic, Parkinson's, dementia, etc., depending on capacity. It also occurs with citizens with other diagnoses.

In this department you will need your full nursing expertise. You will be an important part of a multidisciplinary team. We work multidisciplinary with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social and health care assistants, nurses, doctors and social and health care helpers.

Your tasks will among other things be to

  • Take care of nursing observations, assessments and decisions, including medication management and documentation
  • Drive clinical leadership in the team and use your expertise to structure and prioritise daily work
  • Handle complex citizen journeys and contribute to acute task solutions
  • Work preventively, health-promoting and rehabilitative with the citizen's goals at the center
  • Share knowledge and brainstorm with colleagues, citizens and relatives
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary conversations with the citizen and relatives about the ongoing plan

You will therefore have the opportunity to use both your clinical expertise, your judgement and your collaboration skills.

We offer you

  • A thorough onboarding and ongoing professional sparring.
  • Participation in the further development of the multidisciplinary collaboration, where good collegiality, care and humor shape everyday life.
  • Opportunity to contribute your ideas in a workplace with high ambitions for rehabilitation.
  • We will be flexible with regard to the work schedule.

We are entering something new

There is a lot happening with us right now.

As a result of the health reform, our area will transfer to the region, and our rehabilitation placements will become health and care placements .

That means new workflows, new collaboration surfaces and new systems. We will, among other things, work in Sundhedsplatformen , and we will use Optima in planning.

It is a big change – and that is exactly why we need employees who want to be part of it.

Are you the one we are looking for?

You are a trained nurse and have Danish authorization.

Perhaps you already have experience with rehabilitation and neurology. Perhaps you come from a completely different area, but would like to try your hand at rehabilitation.

The most important for us is that you

  • are professionally engaged and curious
  • can create an overview in complex situations
  • want to work rehabilitatively and with the citizen's goals at the center
  • thrive in multidisciplinary collaboration
  • dare to take responsibility and bring your professional expertise into play
  • see opportunities rather than limitations
  • want to contribute to a good collegial atmosphere.

Experience in nursing elderly people is an advantage.

The position is full-time, but can be applied for in a reduced fraction. The position is primarily day shifts, preferably mixed with a few evening shifts.
