About the job

In the Citizens Service in Aabenraa Municipality we have ambitions. We want to be the citizens' preferred entry to the public sector, and we work every day to deliver high-quality service, guidance and solutions.

We are looking for an administrative employee who is passionate about citizen service, digital communication and administrative tasks. You meet people at eye level, communicate confidently in Danish, German and English, and thrive in a everyday life with both variation and high citizen contact.

About the job

As an administrative employee in Borgerservice you will have a versatile everyday, where you both work with concrete administrative tasks and with direct guidance of the municipality's citizens.

You will among other things be part of the work to help citizens move forward well in their encounters with the public – both when it comes to digital solutions, and when a case requires more concrete administrative handling.

Your main tasks will include

  • Administration and case processing of tenant deposit loans
  • Guidance on MitID and digital self-service solutions
  • Digital dissemination and help to citizens with different digital prerequisites
  • Personal, telephone and digital citizen service
  • Guidance in Danish, German and English
  • Collaboration across the municipality to find good solutions for the citizens
  • Contributing to the development of Borgerservice and the work with digital inclusion

About you

We expect you professionally

  • Have an administrative education or equivalent relevant experience
  • Have an interest in or experience with public administration
  • Communicate confidently and approachable in Danish, German and English
  • Have good digital competences and a desire to help others become comfortable with digital solutions
  • Are curious about new knowledge, legislation, digital solutions and technological possibilities
  • Have an overview and understand your role as part of the overall municipal task

We expect you personally

  • Work in a structured way and take responsibility for your tasks
  • Can maintain an overview and create a good experience for the citizen – also when it is busy
  • Meet citizens and partners openly and respectfully
  • Are professional and clear in your communication
  • Take responsibility and can work independently
  • Are curious about how we can do things even better
  • Contribute positively to a strong workplace community characterized by trust, loyalty and credibility
  • Thrive with a daily life where tasks, pace and needs can vary

Join the common staffing

Borgerservice must be accessible to citizens, and therefore you will be included in a shift plan where working hours vary.

Therefore you must be prepared that your working hours on some days can be until 17:00 and on other days until 18:00. The shift plan is arranged to ensure a good balance between Borgerservice's opening hours, the tasks and the employees' working hours.

Why you should choose us

In Borgerservice we work according to the principles accessibility, communication and sustainable development.

We want to be a workplace where employees develop, learn from each other and help shape the future of citizen service.

We offer

  • A meaningful job with great societal significance
  • Skilled and engaged colleagues
  • A high degree of independence and responsibility
  • Opportunity for competence development and professional specialization
  • A workplace with ambitions and a desire to continuously develop
  • An everyday life with focus on quality, collaboration and good solutions for citizens

Our promise to citizens

We believe that good Borgerservice is about more than rules and solutions. It is also about creating security, accessibility and good experiences in the encounter with the municipality.

Therefore we are looking for a colleague who can combine professionalism and structure with presence, curiosity and the desire to make a difference for other people.
