Do you want to lead our social work team and help strengthen the quality of social work across our services?

We are looking for a professionally strong departmental head who can set a direction for our social work team and help develop and ensure the quality of social work across the organization. You will have both personnel responsibility and a clear cross-disciplinary professional responsibility. About the position As department head you will have the personnel and professional leadership responsibility for the social work function in Jutland.

You set the course, prioritize actions and ensure that the team’s professional expertise is translated into concrete value in the daily practice of the services. In the daily coordination of the team’s tasks you work closely with the social work coordinator.

You report to the quality manager and will play a central role in translating the organization’s strategic quality goals into practice and monitoring progress across the services.

You also lead the organization’s work with the social supervisory authority and play an important role in the development and quality assurance of documentation practices, systematic follow-up on the social work quality and cross-cutting development projects.

In Zealand you will have a coordinating role in relation to Hyldgaard & Larsen Zealand. Here you contribute to cohesion and a common professional direction and support collaboration between the social work functions, the local management and the central organization.

Your primary areas of responsibility

• Personnel management and professional leadership of the social work function in Jutland.
• Coordination of the social work function in relation to H&L Zealand with a focus on coherence, common professional direction and cross-organizational collaboration.
• Responsibility for coordination, preparation and follow-up in connection with social supervision as well as a central role in inspection visits.
• Professional sparring with the services’ leadership on social work practice, documentation and quality development.
• Development and quality assurance of documentation practices, including relevant procedures and tools, as well as systematic follow-up on the social work quality in the services.
• Point of contact for cross-cutting social work projects and development initiatives.
• Follow-up on social work quality goals and development needs as well as new professional and legal requirements.

Who are you? You have a relevant social work education, for example as a social worker or a pedagogue, and solid experience from the residential care sector, preferably complemented by experience from the adult sector.

• Have experience with personnel management and professional leadership and can create direction, structure and followership.
• Have thorough knowledge of the social supervisory authority’s practices and experience in preparing, participating in and following up on inspections.
• Have solid experience with social work documentation, quality assurance and development of practice.
• Have in-depth knowledge of the legislation and regulatory framework governing interventions for adults, including the Social Services Act and the Social Supervisory Authority Act.
• Can navigate safely in different visitation and support provisions and ensure that the delivered service complies with the municipality’s decision, the service’s approval and applicable law.
• Can translate complex professional, regulatory and legal requirements into clear and usable solutions in practice.
• Have strong collaboration skills and can build good relationships across disciplines and organizational levels.
• Experience with visitation and professional assessment of new inquiries is an advantage but not a requirement.
