About the job

We are looking for a clear and present leader

As our current leader has chosen to retire on 31 January 2027, Mødestedet SIND Skive is seeking a leader for 37 hours per week, with start date 1 February 2027.

We are looking for someone who has both the desire and courage to be a leader, and who also has a heart for people and a wish to be a visible part of daily life at Mødestedet.

Mødestedet SIND Skive is an open day center for people experiencing mental vulnerability, loneliness, or who otherwise need a safe place to belong.

People are at the center here. Users come for the togetherness, safety, and the good experiences – and to be part of a place where they can be themselves.

As a leader you will be responsible for

  • daily management, operations and staff wellbeing
  • economy, administration and working environment
  • collaboration with the board, the municipality, SIND and other partners
  • the ongoing development of Mødestedet

You must be a visible and clear leader who is present in the house, close to the staff and who keeps their finger on the pulse.

As a leader you will participate in Mødestedet’s daily life and assist as needed with activities, in the kitchen or other practical tasks. You will be part of the daily duty roster, which may include evenings and weekends.

Leadership with presence

We are seeking a leader who is clear, listening, relationship-building and good at creating safety and wellbeing. You must be able to set direction, make decisions and lead with trust – without micromanaging.

Together with staff, users and volunteers

Mødestedet has committed staff and volunteers who every day help create activities, community and safety for the users.

As a leader you should value their engagement and create good conditions for collaboration.

Users are the driving force behind our work. Therefore you must be curious about their perspectives and help ensure user involvement and co-determination.

You must also ensure that Mødestedet’s values and direction are clear, and that we work together on what is important.

Who are you?

We are not looking for a specific educational background, but for a leader who wants to lead Mødestedet.

You are clear, responsible and good with people. You can create overview, make decisions and at the same time meet both staff, users and volunteers with respect and presence.

You can collaborate broadly and naturally stand up for our values

OPENNESS – WELL-BEING – RESPECT

We offer

A meaningful leadership role with responsibility, influence and the opportunity to shape Mødestedet’s future.

You will become part of a strong community with engaged staff, volunteers and users as well as an active board.

Something valuable to preserve – and something exciting to develop.

Application deadline

is 13 November 2026 , and we expect to hold interviews on 30 November 2026.

Salary: According to the current pay framework.
