We are looking for 1 more pedagogue.

This is a permanent position.

Søs, Kian and Susanne are eagerly hoping for a colleague. Therefore we are now offering 1 position in Tumlehøjen's lovely kindergarten as of 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible – we need one trained pedagogue here

The position is 35-37 hours per week; you will be part of a skilled team in the kindergarten with trained pedagogues and experienced PA/pedagogical assistants. The room is filled with 16 lovely Diskomuses who are ready to welcome you.

At Tumlehøjen we work with a strong pedagogical focus on the core task. We are committed to joint development and prioritise continuously adjusting our pedagogical practice for the benefit of our children, and we want to ensure good participation opportunities, presence and strong relational environments in everyday life for all children.

Tumlehøjen is a DGI-certified kindergarten. In recent years we have worked even more focused on implementing movement in our pedagogical practice . The process has been good, and we are still on the way, which means that the position contains a high degree of professional learning and development in collaboration with all staff in the house.

We are seeking you with your heart in the right place – for us this means that you value the diversity in the staff group, and not least in our children's groups and their families.

You are a pedagogue who

  • Can work independently, can be visionary and lead development initiatives.
  • Is curious, and wants to develop your professional competence.
  • Is a team player with good communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Can keep focus on what is important in a daily life where you are met with diverse impressions and expectations from multiple sides.
  • Can work structurally and support the pedagogical professional framework in the house.
  • Has courage to contribute to colleagues' development by giving feedback and sparring on challenging situations.
  • Meets children, parents and colleagues with a smile.

We can offer

  • A high degree of participation and close-to-management.
  • High professionalism, sparring in the field and good opportunities for development.
  • Skilled and approachable colleagues who are passionate about creating the best framework for Tumlehøjen's children.
  • A good and close-parental collaboration.
  • A good development environment for the children.
  • A work environment where we help each other and collaborate across rooms.
  • A strong team of experienced pedagogues and assistants, all adaptable and development-oriented.
  • A workplace where you can be yourself.
  • A workplace where we look after each other and can have a lot of fun together.

It is important to us that you can work in the nursery, kindergarten and our pre-school group. We also expect you to be flexible in working hours, and able to open and close, as we cover each other in case of illness and vacation.

Tumlehøjens opening hours are: Monday-Wednesday: 6:00-17:00, Thursday 6:00-16:45 and Friday: 6:00-16:00.

In addition you will work according to Sorø Municipality's pedagogical compass – see link:https://inklusion.soroe.dk/indsatser/de-paedagogiske-pejlemaerker
