We are seeking a doctor for our forensic-psychiatric department at Psychiatric Center Sct. Hans.

At Department R, Sct. Hans, Roskilde, we work with long-term patient journeys within fixed frameworks, where continuity, multidisciplinary collaboration, and clinical judgment are central elements in daily life.

Department R consists of eight closed ward beds, two open wards, as well as outpatient clinics, and works with specialized forensic-psychiatric treatment of patients with psychiatric illness and a court order for treatment or placement.

The practical aspects of the position

You will be attached to a ward and a medical team and will have independent patient pathways.

The position includes on-call duties in the on-call shift. The on-call workload is not large.

The on-call work is organized so that they have a minimum of two weekly ward rounds.

You will work in the daily environment of “Udsigten” - a new modern building in beautiful surroundings by the Roskilde Fjord, creating new opportunities for rehabilitative activities and time for the core task.

Salary and terms of employment

The employment runs from 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. If you can start on 1 November, that is also possible.

You are employed in accordance with the collective agreement for subordinate doctors, including the provisions of the agreement on working hours with salary placement as doctor step 1.

The region is a 24/7 area, and you will, according to concrete need, be scheduled for shifts outside the outpatient clinic’s opening hours in accordance with the working time rules in the collective agreement.
