Driver for the Recycling Department

An important part of daily life in Horsens Municipality

Service & Beredskab is a municipal operations unit that, among other things, handles the operation of Horsens Municipality's recycling centers, container transport and emptying of buried waste stations.

You will become part of the Recycling Department, where we solve many different operational tasks. Here the pace is sometimes high, and we succeed best when we collaborate, communicate clearly and are ready to help each other.

Your tasks

You will have an active and versatile daily life with practical tasks within recycling and waste management. You will among other things be involved in:

• Drive and handle containers and solve transport tasks
• Empty buried waste stations
• Contribute to the daily operation of the municipality's recycling centers and other operational tasks
• Provide good service and communicate professionally with citizens and colleagues
• Cooperate with the rest of the driver team and help out where needed
• Work safely, responsibly and with a focus on quality in task solving

The position is a full-time role with weekend shifts, and it is therefore important that you are flexible regarding working hours.

• Have a driving license category C and E as well as a valid EU certificate
• Have crane certificate
• Have basic IT knowledge at user level

• Are flexible with regard to working hours and ready to help where needed

Practical information

Workplace: Endelavevej 5, 8700 Horsens.

Employment: We as a rule seek a full-time employee with weekend shifts, but we are also open to hourly employment with fewer hours. The position can therefore also be relevant for you who are retired or pensioner and want to stay active in the labor market.

Start: By agreement.

Salary and pension

Salary and employment terms are set according to applicable collective agreement and your personal qualifications. The starting salary is approx. 29,000 DKK per month with 15% employer-paid pension.
