About the job
Scania Driver Academy continues to experience a growing interest in our products. The combination of high professionalism, a serious attitude, and a strong knowledge of the industry is warmly welcomed by customers. We are therefore looking for another Driver Trainer, this time based at our department in Kolding, but with tasks also outside the Triangle region.
About the role
You will teach on our EU continuing education group, you are a safety advisor, also for the ADR courses. As you become familiar with Scania's world and your new role, you will also coach drivers so their effort is as effective as possible. Finally you will help contribute to the customer’s Premium Experience when you demonstrate the customer’s new Scania trucks.
Who are you?
Do you have ambitions to use your skills as a communicator to train others? Do you want to help Scania, and a number of Denmark’s transport companies, qualify drivers to perform at their best when it comes to safe driving, with a focus on as little energy consumption as possible?
Do you have a good eye for relationships, a fine focus on service, and a firm will to give your best?
Do you work well with independent task solving, while being aware that the team stands behind the overall result, and that no one should be left to handle things alone?
If you also bring extensive experience from the transport sector, ideally from road transport, or you have "built qualification certificates" or ADR training programs on a large scale, then you are a strong candidate for a colleague in our small team.
Your tasks
Your tasks alternate between teaching “in the classroom”, where we have the industry’s smallest class, and being out and instructing drivers when they receive their new vehicles. You can therefore expect a varied daily routine that you can help plan.
You have a knack for using IT, are very good at interacting with both colleagues and participants, are typically in good spirits and flexible by nature. You probably have a good knowledge of trucks and their importance for society, as well as their impact on the environment.
The formal requirements for AMU instructors, including teaching qualifications, you likely have in place. It is not certain that you are an ADR+safety advisor, but you have experience with EU continuing education!
What we offer
Quite possibly the industry’s best range of employee benefits, a sensible balance between work life and leisure, good opportunities for further education, a salary package that reflects our requirements, and most importantly - a position in a team where the individual can have a voice, and achievements are recognised.
If you are curious, you can call Thomas Skov Rasmussen at 9134 4014 to hear more.
We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and close the recruitment when we have found the right person for the job.
We look forward to hearing from you.
