About the job
Would you like to work with a wonderful Vita, where one-to-one contact is in focus, and are you looking for meaningful work where your professional skills are utilized? Then this might be your new job!
About the arrangement
We are looking for 1 relief worker for our team at Vita, who is 13 years old. Vita is a sweet and loving girl with a need for special support, as she was born with Emanuel Syndrome.
Vita lives with her family close to Fields and public transport.
Since Vita has a weak immune system, it is important to have as few people in the home as possible. Vita is home-tutored and has been since 2013, and does not attend an institution.
In addition to all the fun and life-affirming work with Vita, there will be practical tasks, as Vita needs help with everything: communication, mobility on the floor, eating, drinking, playing and help with personal care - all with a view to involving her as much as possible. Vita sits in a wheelchair, but moves around the home on the floor on her stomach.
It is an advantage if you have experience in the area, but in any case there will be training in routines and various things from Vita's very sweet parents. In this arrangement you have the opportunity to acquire many competences that you can later use elsewhere.
Who are you?
We are seeking 1-2 relief workers who want to spend time with a sweet and cheerful young girl. You should have a loving heart, but also be able to create structure and safe surroundings.
You must be physically strong (as there may be transfers), be patient and want to be part of a small family's everyday life with all that entails both chaos and love. You are also reliable and willing to work with Vita independently. Last but not least, you have a ready smile and can see yourself in the job for a long time to come.
Employment and shifts
Vita and the family have just been granted what corresponds to 46 hours per week. These hours are intended to be placed primarily in the afternoon/evening on weekdays, as well as some daytime hours on weekends. The hours are shared between you and the family's other relief workers to meet the family's needs as best as possible. As it will also be possible in the long run to take on Vita's home training hours, you will be able to have between 10 and 30 hours per week.
Please mention in your application how many hours per week you would be interested in.
As an employee of Olivia Denmark you are covered by the collective agreement with FOA, and are therefore guaranteed a number of basic terms. Your base hourly wage is set at Wage Level 15, which at the current time amounts to DKK 160. There will be allowances after 5 pm, as well as on weekends.
We call for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to send your application today – we look forward to hearing from you!
