Workplace: Forsorgshjemmet Overmarksgården, Dyrehavevej 175, 6000 Kolding Working hours: The position will primarily be day/evening and with work every 2nd weekend, (but there may also be the possibility to participate in 12-hour shifts with work every 3rd weekend). Employment start : willing 01.11.2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are systemically and narratively oriented. Here NADA is offered to residents (ear acupuncture), and conversations. Much of the daily practical tasks are carried out together with the residents. We seek a skilled and engaged health-care colleague who works goal-oriented and structured, someone who sees possibilities and is creative in working with the residents. It would also be an advantage if you have knowledge of the target group or parts of the target group's challenges.

Functions

• Tasks in the 24-hour department:
• Develop procedures for handling doctor-prescribed medications in accordance with applicable law.
• Training of relief shifts and new colleagues in medication handling.
• Initiate health-promoting initiatives.
• Actively participate in discussions of residents from a health-care perspective.
• Develop and strengthen cooperation with external partners e.g. The Regional Psychiatry, Kolding Addiction Center (KMC), general practitioners etc.
• Work towards residents obtaining the greatest possible insight into their own health.
• Health conversations with residents who wish this.
• Support and guide residents to relevant health examinations.
• Ensure the medication room contains the necessary tools to perform nursing.
• Keep up to date with research in the field of the socially vulnerable.
• Create an environment that is pleasant to be in.

Qualifications

We expect you to have a nursing or social and health care assistant (SSA) education and you should have experience in developing interventions. You must be good at establishing contact with our residents, able to think outside the box, and you should have good collaboration skills.

• You have a holistic view and are good at engaging in dialogue with the health-care perspective in a daily work environment where close cooperation with social professionals is present.

Who are we?

Forsorgshjemmet Overmarksgården is an acute temporary social 24-hour center for socially vulnerable citizens under §110 of the Social Services Act.

Overmarksgården's task is to offer overnight shelter and support for socially vulnerable citizens with addiction problems and/or severe social/psychiatric issues. In recent years the department has worked targetedly with implementing a systemic and narrative approach in relation to cooperation with residents.

Our task is individualized and we provide support with the aim of restoring a life focusing on new opportunities.

Overmarksgården has 44 beds plus 4 hostel beds. Overmarksgården's staff consists of many professional groups, where everyone's competences are brought into play in an interdisciplinary cooperation. We are an organization of about 46 employees. You will report to the head of department for: 24-hour department, Social workers and Team Strengthened Intervention.

Salary: According to the applicable collective agreement, and new pay.
