Educators for Børnegården Hegnsholt – where nature, presence and curiosity go hand in hand - "Room to grow"

Do you dream of an educational position where children meet the world with soil under their nails, wind in their hair and present adults by their side?

Then it might be you we are looking for for our nursery/kindergarten at Børnegården Hegnsholt .

With us, nature is not something we visit – it is part of everyday life. Every day we follow the drift of the seasons on the farm, care for animals, explore fields, forests and the beach. We cook over a fire and go on adventures in the trailer bicycles. We believe that the best learning and development opportunities arise when children are allowed to experience, sense, and be an active part of life around them. Based on the institution’s pedagogical foundation from Børnegården Hegnsholt, we place great emphasis on children’s well-being, safety, development and outdoor life.

Who are we?

Børnegården Hegnsholt is a small, close-knit institution where relationships mean everything. We have a total of 30-35 children. We work from an appreciative pedagogy with a focus on:

• Safety and presence
• Respect and care
• Tolerance and courage
• Close parental collaboration
• Nature, animals and outdoor life
• Play, communities and child perspectives

With us, the children meet hens, cows, fields, the changing seasons and plenty of opportunities to explore the world with all senses. We believe that children develop best when they are safe, curious and surrounded by engaged adults.

We are looking for an educator who

🌱 Is passionate about working with children.

🌱 Sees opportunities in nature and thrives with a daily life that takes place largely outdoors.

🌱 Is present, warm and strong in relationships.

🌱 Has an eye for the individual child’s needs while also being able to create strong communities.

🌱 Can contribute with professional reflection and development.

🌱 Sees parents as an important partner in collaboration.

🌱 Wants to join an engaged team where we help each other and lift each other in unity.

With us you get

✅ A daily life close to nature, animals and farm life.

✅ Opportunity to put your pedagogical imprint on everyday life.

✅ A workplace with high professionalism and strong values.

✅ Close cooperation with engaged colleagues and families.

✅ Happy children who meet the world with open eyes and great curiosity.

✅ Plenty of fresh air, laughter and meaningful experiences.

✅ Time for preparation

✅ Health insurance

✅ Salary according to collective agreement and partially paid work clothes

We believe in...

That children learn through relationships, play, experiences and participation. Therefore we create frameworks where children can develop at their own pace, experience success and be greeted with respect and recognition every single day.

Does that sound like a place for you?

Then we look forward to hearing from you.

Come and help create a daily life where the youngest get big experiences – and where nature is our best learning room.

Børnegården Hegnsholt – a safe place to grow, play and learn. 🌿🐓🐰🌾
