About the job

Do you want to lead a development project with great strategic importance for the Greenlandic Health Service – and at the same time work close to clinical practice.

We are seeking an engaged and professionally strong nurse with a master's degree for a central role in a pilot project on recruiting, training and retaining foreign nurses at Queen Ingrids Hospital.

About the position

You will be a key person in building and implementing a structured education and integration program for nurses educated in the Philippines. You will be responsible for ensuring progression, quality and coherence in a program with both professional and language development. You will work at the intersection of clinical practice, education and project management.

Your main tasks

  • Ensure a good onboarding and introduction to Queen Ingrids Hospital
  • Planning of the training program for the foreign nurses
  • Ensure progress and coordination of the training program
  • Closely follow the nurses in clinical practice
  • Ensure progression in learning objectives and competencies
  • Collaboration with department management, HR and mentors
  • Conduct evaluation and status reviews
  • Contribute to the development of onboarding and the future model

We are looking for someone who

  • Is a nurse with a relevant master's degree (cand.cur., cand.scient.san. or equivalent)
  • Has experience with teaching, supervision or competency development
  • Works in a structured way and can drive processes forward
  • Has strong collaboration and relational skills
  • Thrives in change and can navigate complexity
  • Has strong language skills and communicates effortlessly in Greenlandic, Danish and English – both in writing and speaking.

We offer

  • An independent and central role in a strategically important development project
  • Great influence on future solutions in healthcare
  • A dynamic daily life with both clinical and development-oriented work
  • A strong professional and interdisciplinary environment

If you want to help shape the future Greenlandic healthcare system, we look forward to hearing from you.
