We welcome more children to Rosborg Børnehus. We are therefore looking for you who want to help develop our new day care with a focus on sustainability at child level.

Currently the nursery is being expanded, so it is important that you are interested in creating development and well-being for the youngest children.

First and foremost, you are a warm-hearted and approachable adult who takes responsibility for creating a good atmosphere in our house.

Come and help shape spaces and pedagogy, outdoors and indoors.

About the job

There is talk of an exciting position in a newly built day institution, where we together shall create safe and good frames for all children and parents. You will therefore be actively involved in the design of the children's rooms and the pedagogy in our house, and you must be ready to create a good everyday structure while we build anew.

We have a clear vision to work with sustainability at child level, and we will together translate that into an educational everyday life where play and outdoor activity have high priority.

You must therefore want to and be interested in outdoor life and experimental play and translate that into action.

We also want creativity and music to fill everyday life.

Rosborg Børnehus is a day institution under construction, where we value dialogue and co-creation in cooperation with parents, in a colleague group under development and in our cooperation with other professionals and users of the house, which requires good collaboration skills, an open mind and a desire to rethink.

There will be ongoing recruitment of new colleagues as we welcome more families.

About us

Rosborg Børnehus has arisen from a dream to create “The world's most wonderful day institution for little citizens of the world in Vejle”.

That means that we have the children's well-being and care in mind, and it starts with caring and warm adults.

Children are shaped by the insights and understanding of the contexts they meet in their daily lives. It is therefore a vision to give the children a playful development framework, where children every day meet an inspiring and creative environment that through play develops courage, empathy, cooperative skills, knowledge and agency.

Rosborg Børnehus is built with sustainable materials, and based on knowledge of what the physical framework means for the well-being and welfare of us all. We have throughout the process been in close dialogue with the architects, and our focus has been on creating the most optimal frames with attention to room quality, light incidence, sound quality, colors and atmosphere.

It should be good for everyone to be part of Rosborg Børnehus, whether you are a child or an adult, and we want a warm and heartfelt atmosphere.

The house is arranged so that there are separate entrances to the rooms, and so the children can engage in engrossing play without being disturbed by many comings and goings of people.

We want to give the children the best opportunities to develop their creative expression through a living workshop, which is central to our pedagogical approach. Therefore there is a wonderful workshop with space for an active creating environment.

We want music and singing and dancing to have a central place in the daily lives of children and adults. The children have a body in rapid development that needs and is made for movement. Therefore the framework for movement will be integrated into all daily activities. Outdoors and indoors in the motor skills room.

Similarly, outdoor life is central in Rosborg Børnehus. The sky room is the courtyard in the centre, where you can play with quiet and immersive activities. Here water runs in a circle to flow out into open channels and be collected in the well with the water pump and stone brook. There is a large outdoor space with a covered area so we can have good play areas regardless of wind and weather.

During the autumn, a larger group of children from a now-closed day institution will become part of our house, so we are therefore expanding the staff group with 5 pedagogues. It is therefore crucial that you have experiences and competencies to develop inclusive environments for all children.

You ideally have experience with creativity and music, which you can bring into play together with the children. And we would like to hear about other interests you are passionate about, which could be enriching for Rosborg Børnehus.

It is a clear expectation that you have a friendly and approachable demeanor, and that you have consistent, reliable attendance.

Employment terms

Employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with BUPL.

Information about starting salary

Employment is based on the collective agreement for pedagogues at day institutions, school-age child care, clubs, etc., §§4-9. The expected starting full-time salary, excluding pension, is 32,511 DKK / lies in the range 32,511 DKK to 37,458 DKK depending on seniority. It should be noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
