Would you like to use your pedagogical expertise to create meaningful communities, development and positive experiences for adults with disabilities? Do you also have an interest in music and creative activities, then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

In the Activity and Social Offer in Slagelse Municipality we work every day to create well-being, participation and quality of life for citizens with significant physical and mental impairments. We offer an active everyday life with community, creativity, music, movement and experiences, where the citizens' wishes and resources are at the center.

Your tasks

You will become an important part of the citizens' daily life and shall among other things

• plan and carry out meaningful activities
• create safe and inclusive communities
• support the citizens' development and quality of life
• document the pedagogical efforts
• provide care and support, including personal care when needed
• collaborate with colleagues, relatives and partners

Music as a pedagogical tool

Music features prominently in our offering. Therefore, it is an advantage if you have an interest in singing, rhythms, instruments or creative music processes. You do not need to be a professional musician, but you should be keen to use music as a way to foster community, communication and joy of life.

Part of the offering consists of musical activities, rehearsals and performances with citizens who derive great joy from music as a community-building and developmental activity. We are therefore seeking a colleague who wants to use music as a pedagogical tool and contribute to developing the area together with citizens and colleagues.

We would like you to have some of the following competencies

• rhythmic understanding and a confident singing voice
• ability to accompany on guitar and preferably other instruments
• experience with audio equipment such as amplifiers, mixers and microphone systems
• desire to work with songwriting and creative music processes together with the citizens
• interest in supporting practical tasks in connection with concerts and events outside the building

Practical information

The position is in principle 37 hours per week .

The working time is distributed with

• 32 hours in the Activity and Social Offer
• 5 hours at one of the residential facilities at Rosenkildevej

Employment is desired as of 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary and employment

Employment is subject to the applicable collective agreement.
