Educator for Allinge Børnehus

Would you like to help create secure relationships, strong communities and good learning environments for our children? Then it might be you we're looking for!

We are seeking a trained pedagogue for a 37-hour-per-week position with a start no later than November 1, 2026 or by agreement.

Who are we?

Allinge Børnehus is an integrated institution with two kindergarten groups and one nursery group. We are a childcare house where presence, safety, play and good relationships are the foundation of our pedagogical work.

We are focused on the neuroaffective approach and the importance of secure attachment. We continually work on developing our relational, appreciative and inclusive pedagogy, and every day we focus on the children’s well-being, development, learning and the learning environments we offer them.

In 2027 we begin teaching COS (Circle of Security), which will help strengthen our shared professional understanding of children’s need for safety and attachment.

Our pedagogical approach

We aim to create safe spaces where all children feel seen, heard and met with understanding. Through presence, care and empathy we support the children in developing their social and emotional competencies, regulate their emotions and build positive relationships with both children and adults.

We believe that children do the best they can . When something is difficult for a child, it is our task to be curious about what the child is trying to tell us, and how we can adjust our approach and the learning environment so the child has the best conditions to succeed.

We see play as a valuable part of children’s everyday life – both because play is valuable in itself, and because through play children develop, learn and create communities.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of local pay formation.

A criminal record check and a child protection clearance will be obtained upon employment.

The position is 37 hours per week.
