About the job

Educator for Atterbakken Are you passionate about creating safety and development for adults with mental disorders? Become an educator at Atterbakken — a close cross-disciplinary community and meaningful work.

Apply for this job

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the everyday life of adults? Do you have the heart in the right place and a desire to work in an environment where presence, professionalism and cross-disciplinary collaboration go hand in hand? Would you contribute to anchoring our methods and approaches in practice? then you might be Atterbakken's new educator

At Atterbakken we are looking for a committed and relationship-strong educator who wants to help create safe environments, development opportunities and meaningful communities for adults with mental illness.

With us you will become part of a professionally strong team that every day works to support residents in mastering their own lives – with respect, curiosity and a holistic view of humanity. If you thrive in a daily life with both structure and spontaneous challenges, and if you are motivated by seeing people succeed in small and large steps, then perhaps you are exactly the person we are looking for. We work from an appreciative and relationship-oriented approach based on LA and MI.

You will be professionally prepared for the task – and expected subsequently to be able to translate knowledge into reflection and documentation.

Atterbakken is through a program with LA2U education for all employees, which is why our new educator is also expected to be trained in this method.

The residential facility Altiden Atterbakken lies between Næstved and Tappernøje on a former farm in scenic surroundings.

We are approved under §§ 107 and 108 and have room for 9 residents aged 18–85 years. Our target group is socially vulnerable residents with severe mental health difficulties as well as residents with a conviction after personal injury crimes.

  • Actively participate in everyday tasks and be a clear part of the residents' lives

The position is 37 hours per week, primarily distributed over 2 night shifts per week. Shifts may occur at other times related to holidays, activities, etc.

With us you get

  • Great influence and independence in planning your work
  • A diverse team with high professionalism and opportunities for ongoing sparring
  • Professional challenges and good development opportunities through courses and education
