Competence Center Ganløse is seeking a full-time pedagogue with start as soon as possible or no later than January 1, 2027.

At Competence Center Ganløse we meet every day children and young people who need a little more from us adults. Not because they lack resources or potential, but because their path to participation, learning and well-being requires special frameworks, special educational insight and adults who can stand firm when things get difficult.

We therefore seek a pedagogue who wants to be part of a specialized school offering where relationships, professionalism and community are the foundation for everything we do.

Our students are children and young people with, among other things, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders and various socio-emotional challenges. Many have experienced setbacks in their school life and need adults who meet them with the belief that they can succeed. This means the most important task is not always to make the day go as planned. The most important task is to create security, trust and participation opportunities, so that students can gradually develop academically, socially and personally.

As a pedagogue with us you will become a central adult in the students' everyday life. You help create structure and overview, support teaching, guide students through conflicts and challenges and help ensure that all students feel they belong to the community.

At the same time you become part of an engaged team of teachers, pedagogues, counselors and leadership who every day work closely together to create the best opportunities for our students. We believe that high professionalism develops in community, and we prioritize sparring, reflection and knowledge sharing highly.

Opportunity to be a bridge-builder

In Competence Center Ganløse we work purposefully to create strong connections around the children and ensure good transitions between different learning environments. Therefore there may eventually be an opportunity to take on a function as a bridge-builder between general and special education.

In this role you will support students in transition processes, both when students are referred to Competence Center Ganløse and when they are ready to return to a general school offering. The task is to create security, continuity and common direction for the student through close collaboration with the student, family, school and professionals.

We see this function as an important part of our ambition to build bridges between the general and special education areas and ensure that all children experience the best possible participation opportunities throughout their school life.

We are not looking for the perfect candidate. We are looking for a person who can see opportunities where others see limitations. A person who can keep hope on a student's behalf, even when the student itself struggles. And a person who knows that small steps are often the ones that make the biggest difference.
