Dedicated and professional pedagogue with strong relational competences sought for Børnehuset Eremitagen

Børnehuset Eremitagen has a vacant teaching position in our competence group. The position is 30-35 hours depending on preference and is desired to be filled on 15 November 2026 or by agreement.

In Børnehuset Eremitagen we established a competence group in August 2023, consisting of four children, two pedagogues and a pedagogical assistant. The competence group’s children require a high degree of flexibility in the pedagogical environment. The children have different challenges, including challenges related to sensory integration, affect regulation and the ability to engage in social contexts.

The children in our competence group need close guidance to develop and thrive in their daily lives. We work from an appreciative and holistic view of humanity, with a focus on reducing vulnerable positions in the child group through adult-led activities and a clearly structured daily routine. We use different forms of visualization and other special educational tools for our target group.

To be able to create the best development opportunities in an inclusive environment, the staff in the competence group work closely with the staff in the kindergarten. We divide ourselves into smaller groups every day, indoors, on trips and on the playground. Our competence group has attached cargo bikes, which provide the opportunity to go on trips in smaller groups. With a location close to Dyrehaven, Mølleåen and public transport options, we have good conditions to use the nature around us and the versatile possibilities it offers.

Pedagogues in the competence group are responsible for developing action plans, handling parent collaboration and collaborating with external multidisciplinary partners. Børnehuset Eremitagen

Børnehuset Eremitagen accommodates 92 children, distributed as 56 preschool children and 36 toddlers.

The toddlers are distributed into three age-integrated groups. In the preschool, the children are distributed into three age-integrated groups and one competence group. In both departments we focus on working in smaller groups. In Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality there is a wide range of multidisciplinary partners who naturally have a presence in the house. We prioritize good transitional work – both between home/toddlers, toddler/preschool and preschool/school.
