Educator for Endrupskolen

Are you passionate about the special education field, and do you have experience with autism education or a desire to develop your competences in the area? Then you might be the employee we are looking for.

We are seeking a pedagogue or a teaching assistant for the lower school at Endrupskolen in Fredensborg. This is a position in a school group for children with autism and general learning difficulties or a corresponding functional level.

The working hours cover both school and after-school care (SFO).

We have a strong focus on each child's development, well-being and learning – academically and socially.

Therefore, in our teams we are keen to create close and predictable environments with safe and clear pedagogy from which our pupils benefit.

The group offering is anchored in the public school system, and it is therefore important that you want and are able to work in the intersection of teaching, special pedagogy and relation-building.

There will be a substantial amount of written work associated with the position in the form of action plans, school statements, documentation and dialogue with parents.

We are seeking a pedagogical employee who

• meets each student with calm, presence and clarity and can create safe and predictable frameworks
• has an eye for the individual pupil's resources, needs and development opportunities and works motivationally based on these
• preferably has experience with autism pedagogy – or is keen to learn and develop within the area
• is ambitious, curious and present
• works responsibly and patiently with both short- and long-term goals
• can build good relationships with the students and at the same time be clear in their pedagogical practice
• participates actively in the school’s daily life and development
• perceives collegial sparring and joint development of the special pedagogical environment as important elements of your work
• has a curious and reflective approach to one's own and colleagues' practice

Endrup School is one of the country's loveliest schools, located as the neighbor to Fredensborg Palace's large park in an attractive and scenically beautiful area close to Esrum Lake.
