At Hald Ege Kindergarten we are seeking an educator for the toddler department.

The position starts on 1 December 2026. It has been decided in Viborg Municipality that the job postings should be 37 hours, but it can be arranged for positions to involve fewer hours.

Who we are

• Hald Ege Kindergarten is a self-governing institution located in the scenic Hald Ege with forest, water and nature as the nearest neighbors, encouraging play and creativity outdoors.
• The scenic location plays an active role in everyday life at the kindergarten.
• The kindergarten is housed in two buildings (nursery and kindergarten). Children are divided into fixed groups in both the nursery and the kindergarten.
• We are a staff group consisting of nutrition assistants, pedagogues, pedagogical assistants, students, interns, a middle manager and a manager, who work in an environment characterized by good humor and a focus on developing ourselves and learning together.
• Our work community is characterized internally and externally by us adults showing that we are authentic, loving and present caregivers who aim to support children's well-being, development, formation and learning.

• Have knowledge and experience with and about the development of 0-6-year-old children.

• Are a passionate caregiver who values a development-supportive interaction in pedagogical work.
• Can see the purpose in working didactically, systematically and structurally in relation to planning and evaluation of pedagogical initiatives.
• Can see the value and necessity of both collaborating in teams and working independently.
• Lead by example and maintain calm and overview in handling surprising and unexpected situations.
• Are good at creating structure, predictability and familiarity for the children in daily life.
