Educator for Isenvad School & Kindergarten 01.01.2027

Isenvad Childcare House is seeking an educator by 1 January 2027 or earlier.

Isenvad Childcare House is home to 40 wonderful children in the kindergarten and 60 after-school care children from our small local community. We are a close-knit staff group that believes that job satisfaction is contagious – and we have fun together, even when tying shoelaces, changing clothes and assembling bead boards. We focus on presence, pedagogical development and creating a place where everyone feels seen and heard – both children and adults.

We work in a structured way with a clear pedagogical line that provides security in daily life for children, parents and staff.

At Isenvad Childcare House we prioritize presence highly. We aim to live up to the institution’s slogan. "The small institution with the big presence."

Therefore we prioritise time with the children and close collaboration with the parents regarding each individual child. We see all children as unique and treat the children differently to give them equal opportunities.

We are looking for you who

• Have a pedagogical education and a good sense of humor.
• Are present, caring and good at building relationships.
• Are passionate about creating development through play, learning and community. You love crawling around on the floor among the children while you play pretend.
• With your presence you can create the security that makes the children flourish and gives them a desire to explore the world.
• Can see the value in treating children differently to give them equal opportunities – and who might build a rocket out of cardboard boxes if the opportunity presents itself.
• Are willing to put yourself in the game to create a fun and inspiring everyday life, even if it sometimes requires you to make fun of yourself.
• Want to go outside to find spiders, snails or ladybirds to spark a fun conversation with the children.
• Want to play a football match, even if you are not Ronaldo or Messi.
• Want to become part of our strong community, where we support each other and always join in with a playful remark.

Practical information

The position is 32 – 34 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours as a substitute.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

When employed, Ikast-Brande Municipality reserves the right to obtain a childcare certificate and criminal record certificate with the applicant’s consent.
