Klubben Skødstrup is a top-tier leisure-pedagogical offering. We operate club activities at one of Denmark’s largest schools and are characterized by, among other things, a large turnout of club members, development and collaboration.

We can and will take the lead when it comes to creating the absolute best leisure for the city’s children and young people. We do this with a large, brave, innovative, creative and not least professionally skilled staff group.

We are looking for a pedagogue who can do something special with music.

We have a studio in the club and thus good opportunities for music production and recording. Therefore we are looking for you, who wants to bring your musical skills into play together with our members. Perhaps you can produce beats, work with vocals and recording, write songs or navigate around in a music program. Perhaps you already have experience producing music or perhaps you just have a strong musical professional interest and a desire to develop it together with children and young people.

For us it’s not about creating professional musicians. It’s about creating opportunities for participation. The possibility for a young person or a group of young people to come into the studio with an idea, a lyric or a beat and, together with an adult, turn that idea into something. The possibility to create something you can be proud of, and the possibility to use music as a starting point for relationships, community, creativity and participation.

We are devoted to involving members in their own club offer, Ung-til-ung, where members facilitate activities for and with each other, a strong collaboration with other actors, pedagogical development and community. Here we use flexibility, creativity, courage, high professional standards and work groups as the framework for success.

We believe that pedagogy does not always begin with a finished plan.

Sometimes it begins with an idea, a sofa conversation, a beat on the computer or a young person saying: "Can we try this?"

So yes – you need to be able to do something with music. But first and foremost you must be able to do something with people.

What characterizes us?

Klubben Skødstrup is located at Skødstrup School and has cool and unique club rooms that form the framework for our leisure-pedagogical work. We have many members who come daily and a professionally strong staff group with great diversity, which is normally led by an educational leader.

We strive to offer activities that span a wide range and capture the different age groups. We work closely with the school and other actors with the goal that children and young people experience becoming the best possible version of themselves in meaningful, diverse and committing communities.

We open when the school day ends and aim to create a fun, positive and learning leisure environment with a focus on participation opportunities and member involvement. Therefore we proactively work with the involvement of our members and expect that you will do the same.

Your profile

We are looking for a colleague who is musical, reliable, robust, brave and who possesses a sparkling or colorful personality.

You do not need to know it all. Instead we expect that you come with music, are passionate about it and want to bring it into play together with our members.

We place particular emphasis on whether you

• Have a pedagogical education or other relevant education or experience.
• Have an interest in – and preferably experience with – the club world and leisure pedagogy.
• Have musical competencies and an interest in music production.
• Have experience with or a desire to work with beats, vocal recording, songwriting and production.
• Have experience with one or more music production programs and can navigate a studio – or want to learn it.
• Want to help children and young people translate their own ideas into music.
• Can use music as a path to relationships, communities and participation.
