Educator for Lillely – close to play, relationships and the community

Do you want to be involved when 3-4-year-old children play, explore the world, make new friends and develop together? In Børnehuset Lillely we are seeking a trained educator for 37 hours for one of our kindergarten groups.

With us you will have a daily life close to the children and their play – and a workplace where we are curious about our practice and together figure out what works best for the children.

A day close to the children

As an educator in Lillely you are with them when play arises, when a child needs help finding their place in the community, and when the group of children needs help moving forward if something becomes difficult.

We see play as an important path to well-being, development and community, and work to ensure that all children have the opportunity to participate. You will be working with 3-4-year-olds, so it is important that you can see yourself in this age group and delight in their curiosity and emerging independence.

We develop our pedagogy together

In Lillely we use structure as an educational tool, but we adjust it when the group of children or the individual child needs something else. We continually pause and ask:

What works? What do we see in the children? And what can we do differently?

We place emphasis on professional reflection and development of our practice. You will receive close sparring with colleagues, a resource educator and pedagogical leadership, among other things through observations and shared reflection.

Our group of children is diverse, and therefore we also have a special focus on language. We work to create good language environments throughout the day, because language is important for children's participation in relationships and communities.

A childcare house with room for both children and adults

Lillely consists of three kindergarten groups – of which one is an upper age group – and three nursery groups.

We are a childcare house where community, well-being and development apply to both children and adults. Here there is room to ask a colleague for advice, share a curiosity and together find a new path when something doesn't work as expected.

We are looking for someone who

• is a trained educator and wants to work with 3-4-year-olds
• can see the possibilities in play and create good play communities
• is present and curious about the individual child and the group
• can work in a structured way while being flexible
• wants to reflect on their own practice together with colleagues
• will contribute to the ongoing development of our pedagogical practice.

Practical information

• The job is full-time with start on 1 December 2026 or by agreement.
• Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement.
