Would you like to be part of a kindergarten where strong communities, high professional standards and diversity go hand in hand?

At Lyngens Børnehus we are looking for a trained pedagogue for a permanent 37-hour-per-week position in our kindergarten.

We are looking for a colleague who wants to be part of a professional community where we develop our pedagogical practice together. You do not need to have all the answers from the start. The most important for us is that you are curious about children, about collaborating with colleagues and about how we can together create the best participation opportunities for all children.

Who are we?

Lyngens Børnehus is an integrated kindergarten with both a nursery and a kindergarten. We are located in the southern part of Viborg with forests, paths and green spaces right outside the door.

We are a house with great diversity among children and families. Many different cultures, experiences and linguistic backgrounds are represented in our community, and we see diversity as a strength. It gives us the opportunity to learn from each other and at the same time requires our ability to continue creating inclusive learning environments where all children feel like meaningful participants.

We work purposefully with explicit learning environments, a conscious organization of daily life and common pedagogical agreements, so that the children meet familiarity, security and coherence across the house. At the same time, we are focused on continuously developing our practice through reflection, dialogue and joint evaluation.

We believe that strong child communities are created by adults who collaborate, are curious about their own practice and dare to bring their perspectives into play.

About you

The pedagogical task

At Lyngens Børnehus we want to create the best possible conditions for children's well-being, development, learning and formation.

This means that as an educator you must be able to create engaging relationships, clear frames and stimulating learning environments. You must be able to translate professional reflections into action in daily life and be eager, together with colleagues, to explore what works for the children.

We are not necessarily seeking the person who knows the most in advance. We are seeking an educator who is curious, reflective and focused on creating the best possible conditions for the children together with colleagues and parents.

Practical information

The position is a permanent educator position of 37 hours per week in the kindergarten.

Start date: 1 December or as soon as possible.

Salaries and employment terms

Salary is set based on the applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented work experience and your professional and personal qualifications. Before employment and entering into the salary agreement you have the option to receive information about the starting salary in the specific position. Viborg Municipality uses objective and gender-neutral criteria for salary setting in accordance with the rules on equal pay for the same work or work of equal value, and in accordance with the relevant collective agreement.
