About the job
Would you like to help create quality of life and development for people with special needs – and at the same time gain a daily life with professional challenges and flexibility? Then the job in our Fixed Relief Pool might be for you!
Right now we are looking for both those who thrive best at night, as well as those who prefer day and evening shifts.
About the Fixed Relief Pool East and West
Center for Handicap has for some time had a fixed relief pool that covers shifts at all of our housing facilities, activity and employment services, as well as the housing support area.
Our residents have very different needs and require lasting support and guidance for daily functions such as:
- Social relations and cognitive support
- Personal hygiene, medication and meals
- Finances
- Activities and employment
In all departments we work from a structured and affirming approach, where we emphasize relationship work, predictability and development – always based on the individual resident's wishes, needs and prerequisites.
You will become part of a multidisciplinary staff group consisting of educators, pedagogical assistants, social- and health care assistants and care aides.
Flexibility – what does it mean with us?
As part of the Fixed Relief Pool you get a unique opportunity to work across several services and departments. This means:
- Varied meeting times and workplaces.
- Shifting tasks with and without residents.
- Influence on working hours.
- A good onboarding, where you see several of our offerings, and are always accompanied by a regular staff member.
- We work proactively with workload psychology to create a healthy work environment and prevent stress and burnout among staff.
We expect that you
- Are educated as a pedagogue and have an interest in the target group
- Have the desire and ability to work from an individual approach to the residents
- Are engaged and curious about professional development
- Have good collaboration skills, are responsible and flexible
- Trive in a flexible and changing work life
- Have good IT skills and can document professionally in writing
- Have a driving license
