Integrated Institution Paarsisor in Ittoqqortoormiit seeks an educator or equivalent

Integrated Institution Paarsisor is normed for 30 children aged 0-3 and 3-6. The staffing norm is 9 staff distributed as follows: Leader, deputy, 1 educator, 2 child and social care helpers, 3 assistants and 1 kitchen assistant.

Paarsisor is open from 7:30 to 16:30.

Criminal record and Child protection certificate

The position is covered by the act on the obligation to obtain criminal record and child protection certificates. In accordance with the law, employment may only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal record and child protection certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed when the municipality has received the child protection certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child protection certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, where the criminal record is obtained by the individual for the Police.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement between the Greenland Self-Government, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of the start of employment between the Greenland Self-Government and the respective negotiating organization.

The employment will be with a 3-month probation period.

Accommodation

Temporary staff housing may be allocated to the position, for which a deposit and rent, consumption, etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payments in Greenlandic Self-Government and municipal properties in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be provided immediately at the start, employees with the right to vacation housing will be offered temporary vacation housing, for which rent, consumption, etc. are paid as above. The start date depends on when staff housing is available. A joining travel allowance as well as relocation of household goods will be provided in accordance with the applicable rules.
