With us you become part of a whole house, where there is room to bring your professionalism, your ideas and your curiosity into play.

Serinedalen is a relatively new nursery in Malling, and we are well underway in shaping the house we want to be. We develop pedagogy together, create our own traditions and constantly learn more about what works well for the children and for us as a work community. You will have colleagues who help each other, share professionalism and laugh together during the day.

A HOUSE, MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES

As an educator you are employed for the whole Serinedalen. Together we will figure out where your competences and experiences best come into play as we get to know each other.

You will be part of both toddler group and kindergarten and have the opportunity to contribute with your professionalism across the house. We want to get even better at knowing each other's competences, helping each other and learning from each other.

We have an engaged and diverse staff group, and we believe that pedagogy becomes better when we share our perspectives and are curious about each other's practices.

Maybe you have a particular interest or experience you would like to bring into play. Maybe you come with an idea we have not yet thought of. We would like to hear it.

WE SEE THE INDIVIDUAL CHILD

We emphasise close relationships with children and families and the individual child's needs, initiatives and development. We are concerned with well-being and discovering when a child needs something different from us.

As an educator you help create a daily life where the children feel seen, heard and as an important part of the community.

DIRT ON THE KNEES IS JUST FINE

Nature is an important part of Serinedalen's identity. We actively use our green surroundings and give the children the opportunity to explore, move and investigate the world with their whole bodies.

We are also in the process of further developing our nature profile, so if you have ideas about how nature, movement and sustainability can become even more a part of everyday life, there is room for them.

With us, children are allowed to get dirty along the way. For us, dirt on the knees can be a pretty good sign that the children are in the process of exploring the world.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting takes place after negotiation with the union with negotiating rights based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary setting

Weekly hours: 37 hours
