Do you have an eye for the children – including those who don’t always find their way into the play or the community? And are you keen to be part of an SFO where present adults, strong relationships and the children’s perspectives are an important part of the pedagogical daily life?

Then you may be the person we are looking for at SFO Skelgården.

At SFO Skelgården we work to ensure that every child experiences that they have a place in the community. We do this by being close to the children and their relationships and by creating various opportunities for participation in play, activities and friendships.

We don’t believe that all children need the same thing. Some children thrive in large communities, while others need a smaller group, an adult nearby, or a break before they are ready to join again. Therefore you should be curious about the individual child and at the same time have an eye for the community the child is a part of.

It will become part of your daily life

In the SFO you will help create a varied leisure life with space for movement, creativity, play and social communities. You should be able to initiate activities, but also stay close to the play and the communities the children themselves create.

As a pedagogue with us you work both in school and SFO. You will be attached to a class and an year-group team and participate in the collaboration with teachers and pedagogues about the children’s overall day.

The children’s voice has significance for our everyday. We follow their interests and initiatives and work to ensure they experience real influence on their leisure life.

Therefore you must be able to generate good ideas together with the children – and discover the good idea they are already starting themselves.

School, SFO and home are connected

Children have one everyday life, even though it takes place in different places. Therefore we work across school and SFO and participate in team collaboration about the children.

We also collaborate closely with the parents. Daily dialogue is important, and we participate in school–home conversations, parent meetings and the collaboration surrounding the well-being of the individual child and class.

We are looking for someone who

• is educated as a pedagogue and wants to work in both school and SFO
• is present and clear and can create safe relationships with the children
• has an eye for children’s different prerequisites and can help children find their way into play and communities
• is curious about the children’s perspectives and can translate them into pedagogical practice
• can collaborate with colleagues and parents and at the same time bring your own professional strengths, interests and ideas into play.

When a child has difficulty finding their place, we are curious about both the child, the relationships and the community the child tries to become part of. We hope you have this perspective too – or are eager to develop it together with us.

Salary and employment terms

The position is part-time 33 hours per week with start December 1, 2026.

The employment takes place in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with BUPL after negotiation.

The municipality’s employment policy entails that references are obtained from previous and current workplaces. If you have been employed in Tårnby Municipality, a reference will always be taken from there. In addition, a criminal record check must be presented and a child-safeguarding certificate must be obtained. Employment will be conditional on these being satisfactory.
