Educator for SFO Toftlund District School

"As long as you are our new super pedagogue – it is your good games and exciting activities, it is super fun to go to the SFO" Maybe it is you who hears this from a child after you start a job at Toftlund SFO.

An after-school care center where play and learning always go hand in hand. Do you think that way – and can you also act that way – then you are perfect for our SFO. We indeed now have a permanent position as an educator at Toftlund School.

Your hours will mainly be in the after-school program and with a few hours in the school part. We work every day to ensure that our SFO children develop socially and personally. We know this best happens in close professional team collaboration, where we continuously discuss how, through the best didactics and inspiring learning environments, we can create the activities that develop the childrens social and relational skills. You will become part of an ambitious SFO team.

We are looking for you who are creative and passionate about movement activities and have good relational skills in interaction with the children, colleagues and parents, and who have an overview in pressured situations. You take initiative and can make relevant pedagogical actions in relation to the individual child and the large group of children.

Your team is also quite glad to have you with you at meetings, for you take responsibility from day one and contribute with your professionalism, where you can link pedagogical theory with practice and the reality the children are in and not least can plan, execute and evaluate pedagogical activities.

Toftlund SFO is part of Toftlund District School. We have children from 0–4th grade, and together with Agerskov School/SFO and the Høllevang special school, form the northern school/SFO district in Tønder Municipality.

The position is permanent and 30 hours per week, and we expect that you can start as soon as possible and no later than December 1, 2026. Note that you must be able to attend at times when public transport is not available

Salary is according to the applicable collective agreement and personal qualifications and placement in the pay scale depends on experience, competence and relevant education.
