Dagtilbud Sydøst is seeking a pedagogue at Børnehuset Toftegaard - 37 hours as soon as possible.

At Børnehuset Toftegaard we are looking for a pedagogue who wants to make a difference for the children – and at the same time join an exciting journey. We currently live in pavilions, but in 2029 we will open the doors to a completely new children’s house. As part of our team you will have the opportunity to influence the process and help shape the framework we will create together for children, parents and colleagues.

We expect the pedagogue

• can apply theoretical and research-based knowledge in their core task – to create well-being, learning and development for the children.
• can translate knowledge into practice – including reflecting and communicating with professionals and parents.
• have the ability to establish diverse learning environments within language development, motor skills, cultural dissemination, creativity and the natural science area.
• can plan the pedagogical work and ensure that it is carried out with a certain degree of systematicity and purposefulness.
• is responsible for ensuring that pedagogical activities and processes are planned and carried out in accordance with the law.
• at the same time must be able to collaborate with and instruct, guide and inspire teaching assistants and students in pedagogical work, ethics and norms
• can work in collegial teams and have knowledge of teambuilding techniques and group dynamics.
• is particularly interested in and has knowledge about nature as a residence and learning environment
• is able to work independently and lead in the pedagogical work

The work involves children aged 3-5 years.

Børnehuset Toftegaard is an age-integrated institution located in Assentoft. We are currently waiting for a new day facility to be built on our grounds. Until then, we are divided into three smaller houses, where rooms 2 and 2 work together as teams. We share our outdoor areas in common.
