Educator for Special Center West

We are seeking – as soon as possible - a skilled educator for Special Center West.

In SCV you will work together with both skilled and experienced teachers and educators. We currently have 39 students from kindergarten to 10th grade, distributed across 3 classes, early years, middle years and upper levels. V2 is the middle school class, and it is here we are seeking a skilled and relationship-minded educator with experience in the specialized area.

This is a temporary assignment for 37 hours – initially until Christmas.

We are seeking an educator with special competencies within the specialized area

• who have experience with children who need kind and clear adults
• who are stable, robust and calm – also when the children's days are difficult
• who have experience with- or are willing to learn to become proficient in working with LST
• who have the courage to work with one’s own role and approach – to participate in supervision.
• who puts themselves into play – in a friendly way – is strong in relationships in the interaction with the children
• who can contribute with a willingness and ability to think outside the box

We expect you to

• meet the students with a basis in the Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality's Child and Youth Vision
• want to, in close team collaboration, have particular focus on interdisciplinary collaboration
• want to work with communities for children
• have the ability, in collaboration with the team, to see and seek the best solutions
• be ready to work with co-teaching in preparation, execution and evaluation
• have the ability to be adaptable and flexible in a busy daily life
• be independent, responsible and proactive
• contribute with joy and enthusiasm for the benefit of everyone at Ringkøbing School
• that will contribute to a work environment where respect, responsibility and a healthy curious attitude towards one’s own and others' practice enhances conditions for professional development

We are a school with

• about 590 students and 100 staff
• 0th–9th grade, after-school care (SFO) and Club and SCV - a designated special center service for students with special educational support needs.
