Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for as our new maternity substitute in Kernehuset.

The position starts in December 2026 and is a maternity substitute.

The position is 37 hours per week or by agreement with the possibility of fewer hours.

Who are we?

Kernehuset – The Community's Children's House is an integrated day institution located close to the forest and the town's multicenter. In the new year 2027 we are normed to 17 nursery children and 20 kindergarten children, and we work every day to create safe, developmental and presence-filled environments for all children.

In Kernehuset we are on a shared journey, where we focus on creating a safe, present and developmental childhood , where community, relationships and the child’s perspective are at the center.

We work with smaller groups of children because we experience that this creates calm, immersion and strong relationships. We focus on play, care, learning and development – and on meeting each child with acknowledgment and curiosity.

Who are you?

We are looking for you, who

• Is educated as pedagogue or pedagogical assistant
• Wants to work with the youngest children, 0-3-year-olds
• It is expected that you can take responsibility as contact pedagogue/assistant in the parent collaboration during conversations and meetings etc.
• It is expected that you can work within the adopted municipal view of children
• Can work independently and take responsibility, but also value close collegial cooperation
• Are present, caring and engaged
• Can see opportunities and follow the children’s initiatives
• Want to be an active part of the children’s play and development
• Are curious about your own and others’ pedagogical practices
• Want to contribute positively to our community throughout Kernehuset

Salary and terms of employment

Salary is determined according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay formation. The specific salary range will be provided before the interview.
