Pedagogue for the kindergarten at Børnehuset Klatretræet

Pedagogue for the kindergarten at Klatretræet – mentor program for newly graduated and professional challenges for experienced pedagogue. 1 January 2027

As our pedagogical assistant is going to travel, we have the opportunity to convert an assistant position to a pedagogue position of 37 hours per week.

We are looking for a colleague who wants to become part of an engaged community of pedagogues and pedagogical assistants. The position can be full-time or part-time by arrangement.

About Børnehuset Klatretræet

Klatretræet is a fantastic day care facility that forms the framework of daily life for 135 wonderful children. The kindergarten is spread over two sites, located close to both forest and beach and within walking distance to Hornbæk Station.

We actively use our local area year-round and are part of Hornbæk's local community. We visit, among others, Hornbæk Harbour, the local sports hall, Hornbæk Church and Bryghuset in the woods. At the same time we also enjoy trips further away, for example to the cultural work, where children can experience art and creative activities.

With us you may laugh out loud, think anew, get mud on your pants and challenge conventional thinking when it makes sense. We are proud to be a day care with high pedagogical quality, which is also reflected in our supervision results.

A workday with professionalism and community

We work from an organization where we help each other across the house and lift the core task together.

As a pedagogue at Klatretræet you will

  • Fixed time for preparation each week.
  • Pedagogue meetings every 14 days during daytime.
  • Opportunity for professional reflection and sparring across the two sites.
  • A mentor and an introduction program if you are newly graduated or new to the profession.
  • A management with clear goals, clear expectations and great trust in employees' professionalism.

We believe development is created in community. Therefore we prioritize dialogue, influence and shared responsibility. As an employee you will be involved in decisions and development processes because we know that the best solutions arise together.

We work purposefully with

  • Strong and recognizable routines.
  • Small groups of children.
  • Clear learning and play environments both indoors and outdoors.
  • Child communities where all children experience participation opportunities and belonging.

We offer

  • A large and inspiring nature playground with direct access from all four kindergarten rooms.
  • A professional didactic framework with focus on learning environments inside and outside.
  • Opportunity to train in tasks you have not yet gained experience with.
  • Skilled and helpful colleagues who want to succeed together.
  • A workplace with high well-being, humor and professional pride.

Who are you?

If you can say yes to at least 2 of the 5 points below, we would love to hear from you 😊

  • You can maintain agreements and translate goals into practice. You can plan, implement, document and evaluate pedagogical processes within the framework of the strengthened pedagogical curriculum.
  • You have experience with or are open to parent collaboration both in the classroom and across the organization.
  • You love to play and are a trained pedagogue because you have ambitions on behalf of children.
  • You have humor and contribute to a work environment where there is room for differences.
  • You enjoy outdoor life in all kinds of weather and see nature as a fantastic learning and playing space for children.
