We are seeking as of 1/11-2026 or as soon as possible thereafter an educator on a 35-hour contract for our nursery at Lysholt.

We are a municipal day-care institution located in the eastern part of Ikast town, where we have general children aged 0-6 years. In addition, we have referred children aged 0-6 years who have various far-reaching disabilities. We also have our own school offering for referred children. The school is a strongly specialized school offering for pupils who need to be in a smaller, calm, shielded and predictable learning environment with adults very close to them.

As an educator in the nursery at Lysholt, we expect that you

• Value a everyday life where presence, safety, care and the close relationship to the children are at the center.
• Support the individual child’s learning and development of independence and self-reliance.
• Be ambitious on the subject’s behalf and keep yourself updated within nursery pedagogy.
• Be theoretically and professionally well-founded and be able to translate it into practice.
• Be appreciative and resource-focused.
• Understand how to communicate with parents and involve them so that a safe and trusting collaboration is created.
• Be able to convey and document pedagogy orally and in writing, via newsletters, on Aula and in relation to external partners.
• Have a positive attitude and contribute to making everyday life work, in a sometimes busy day.
• Be prepared to be flexible, cooperative, responsible, have a positive work ethic and take co-responsibility for our working environment.
